If you are looking for an affordable Japanese water ionizer that has virtually the same alkaline water making capacity as the IE-500 but without the fancy LCD screen then you should consider the IE-400 Alkaline Water ionizer. The IE-400 is a close relative of the legendary Pure Porte II Microwater unit. It has an improved computer on board a front panel face plate. It has three solid electrolysis plates like the IE-300 and the Pure Port II. With several new machines on the market today with five and even seven plates you might not think much of a three plate machine, but that would be like forgetting history. Three plate machines were used in Japanese hospitals before there were five and seven plate water ionizers and they achieved outstanding results. My friend if you are on a tight budget, not faced with a life threatening illness, and don't need a machine that talks don't let anyone talk you into spending thousands more than you need to, just to fatten their bank accounts. The IE-400 is all you need to provide health alkaline water for 10 or more years. I have personally witnessed a three plate machine (the Pure Porte II) helped to normalize a diabetic condition in less than three months. CL-7000 Electrolysis Cleaning Cartridge

This cleaning cartridge will help your old Toyo, Ange, IE, or Leveluk water ionizers work like new. This is a must have item for owners of machines that are two years old. This is not a filter cartridge. It is designed to clean clogged electrolysis plates so they can ionizer the water flowing over them. We recommend the CL 7000 at least once a year to keep your machine working like new. Owners of older Toyo Millennium, Pure Porte II, Protec, will get an opportunity to drink water from a machine that is like knew again. The CL-7000 is a must have for Leveluk machines that do not have very efficient automatic cleaning cycles. We also recommend this cartridge for new machines like the IE-300, IE-400, IE-500, and IE-900. Water Testing Kits
From time to time it is important that you test your water. We carry several reliable water test kits like the WaterSafe City water test kit or the WaterSafe Well water test kit which test for several contaminants. We also have one of the only residential test kits for flouride. You can use the Chlorine Test kit to see if your filter is still removing chlorine from your water which is a real effective way to tell if your filters needs to be changed. Pre-filters & Filter Housings
If you experience low flow rates before the time which your filter should be changed, you may have excess sediments in your water. Installing a pre-filter may be the solution. Ionizer Hoses/Tubing
